The Barony of Dun Or is located in the modern lands of the Antelope Valley (Lancaster/Palmdale and surrounding areas) and is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit medieval and renaissance reenactment organization. The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Members attend events which feature tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.

Dun Or, founded by Baron Tuvor Sabledrake and Baroness Doria Tecla in 1992, and is one of twelve

baronies currently in existence within the Kingdom of Caid in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Our current are Excellencies Posadnik Nikolai Yaroslavich and Álfrún Úlfreksdóttir, pictured above.

We are located centrally in the Kingdom of Caid in Southern California with the Barony of Angels and Altavia to the south, the Shire of Al-Sahid and the Barony of Dreiburgen to the east, to the northeast Naevahjem, Nordewache in the northwest and the Shire of Wintermist in the West. We are pleased to say that the Barony is quite active, both on a Baronial and Kingdom level. We have many activities in various areas of Medieval and Renaissance studies.
