Welcome to DunOr.org
We are a Barony located in the Antelope Valley, high in Southern California, and encompassing the geographic area from Palmdale to the Tehachapi mountains. Made up of a smaller population but mighty in our members, we are very proud of their contributions within the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). We welcome all who are interested in our mission as a non-profit, educational, and historical society dedicated to reliving and recreating the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

A member of the Barony passed away this month, Hew Mar. He will greatly missed. If you have information about Hew’s family, please contact Baroness Muiriath.
We will be setting up a memorial for Hew at Yule in December. Hew will be remembered through the many pictures he has taken, but Hew was always behind the camera, never in front of the lens. If you have a picture of Hew, bring it to Yule or contact Lady Marya.

To the wonderful populace of Dun Or do we Colyn and Muiriath, Baroness and Baroness of this fair Barony send you all warm and happy tidings!
At Crown tourney this past weekend, Their Royal Majesties met with our proposed heirs. After a very short interview They have approved our choice.
It is our great pleasure to announce that Master Baron Don Kelan McBride and his lady Baroness Arianwen Megan McBride of Arainn are the proposed next Baron and Baroness of Dun Or.
In the next few weeks, a polling will be conducted to confirm this choice with the baronial members. Please be sure to reply with this in a timely manner. Khalida will be handling the polling, so please direct any questions to her.
We are both pleased with the decision and look forward to this new chapter in the Barony’s history.
We remain in humble service to the Dream
